Dr. Istiana Maftuchah holds a Doctoral Degree in Sustainable Development Management from Trisakti University Joint Program with Colorado State University AS. She is currently the Secondee and Indonesia Country Representative to the OECD Environment Department. She has over 10 years of work experience at the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK), where she has held various roles. These include Senior Analyst in the Integrated Financial Services Sector Policy Group, Senior Analyst in the International Department – Senior Analyst at the Sustainable Finance Unit, Researcher in the Banking Research and Regulation Department, and Assistant to the OJK Chairman. Other than that, she has been a research fellow in the Banking Research and Regulation Department at Bank Indonesia and a research assistant at Remote Sensing Application and Development Centre, Indonesian National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) Indonesia. She has more than 5 years of experience in teaching, especially with the Sustainable Finance topic. She also published two books with Prof. Muliaman D. Hadad titled “Sustainable Finance: Developing Suitable Financial System Approach for Indonesia” and “Sustainable Financing, Industri Jasa Keuangan dalam Pembiayaan Berkelanjutan”.
