Prof. Muliaman Darmansyah Hadad, Ph.D., is a former Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia and former Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). He also served as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Switzerland, concurrently representing Liechtenstein, from 2018 to 2023.
During his tenure as the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Switzerland, Prof. Hadad initiated various diplomatic efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and promote Indonesian culture. One notable initiative was the introduction of Javanese wayang (shadow puppetry) to the Swiss community. This cultural exchange aimed to enhance understanding and appreciation of Indonesian traditions while fostering closer relations between Indonesia and Europe.
