Biography

Rininta Nurrachmi, Ph.D.

Rininta Nurrachmi is an accomplished economist specializing in the halal industry, environmental economics, and health economics. She earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the International Islamic University Malaysia, focusing on the intersection of environmental degradation, health outcomes, and income inequality in ASEAN-6 countries. Rininta also holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the same institution and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Community Development from IPB University. Her expertise is supported by her strong analytical skills and proficiency in econometric tools such as Eviews and STATA, along with excellent command of English. Currently, Rininta is a lecturer at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia, where she teaches subjects including econometrics, and research methodology. She has an impressive portfolio of publications, including book chapters and journal articles, and is an active participant in academic conferences and peer-review activities. Prior to joining Faculty of Economics and Business, Indonesian International Islamic University (FEB UIII), she has been serving as a lecturer and Deputy head of postgraduate program at Tazkia Islamic University College, Indonesia since 2022
