Prof. Jann Hidajat Tjakraatmadja is an SBM ITB lecturer who has been consistent in teaching the field of Human and Knowledge Management for 42 years, and he’s a Professor at FEB UIII. His parents are both elementary school teachers, so he comes from a family of educators. Jann began working as a lecturer at the Department of Industrial Engineering shortly after graduating from the ITB’s Faculty of Industrial Engineering in 1979. He also wrote a book on working procedures, which is still used by more than 200 Industrial Engineering Faculties in Indonesia. Prof. Jann received his master’s degree from the University of Leuven in Belgium. General Electric sponsored him for a sabbatical leave at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in New York. And had his second sabbatical leaves at Twente University in the Netherlands.
