Teguh Yudo Wicaksono is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII). His research spans climate economics, sustainable finance, industrial policy, international trade, and labor markets — with a particular focus on Indonesia’s energy transition and economic development challenges.
Before joining UIII, Dr. Wicaksono led the Mandiri Institute at Bank Mandiri (2020–2024). He has also served as Senior Labour and Skills Economist and Revenue Policy Adviser at PROSPERA, the Australia-Indonesia economic cooperation partnership. Earlier in his career, he spent ten years as an economist at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Jakarta, contributing to policy research on trade, poverty, and ASEAN economic integration.
He has served as consultant and researcher for the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, ILO, UNICEF, USAID, and other international organizations. His project portfolio includes studies on emissions trading systems, financial inclusion, disruptive technology and employment and special economic zones.
Dr. Wicaksono holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Kentucky as a Fulbright Presidential Scholar, and was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship from the European Union and a Visiting Fellowship at the Australian National University. He earned his Master of Economics from the University of Sydney and his undergraduate degree from Universitas Indonesia.
